Manifesto
What is effective accelerationism (e/acc)?
Effective accelerationism, or e/acc for short, is a movement of thought holding that technological progress, and AI above all, is humanity's most powerful lever for expanding prosperity. It emerged in 2022 and quickly became one of the most discussed ideas in tech.
The core of e/acc is simple: instead of stopping the future or fearing it, focus on building it faster and better. Optimism instead of doom, curiosity instead of fear.
Optimism
We believe that, in the right hands, technology is how we defeat disease, grow prosperity and expand human potential.
Building
Criticism is not enough. We choose to build, to experiment and to share what we learn.
Momentum
The speed of progress matters. Every step not taken today becomes a gap that is harder to close tomorrow.
Why Türkiye?
Türkiye should be a builder of this transformation, not a spectator.
AI is a general-purpose technology transforming the economy, education, healthcare, science and defense all at once. History shows that societies which embrace such shifts early shape the decades that follow.
Türkiye has a young and talented population, a strong engineering tradition and an entrepreneurial spirit. What is often missing is timely access to knowledge in our own language, and a place that brings together people who share the same goal. That is exactly why tr e/acc exists.
Knowledge in Turkish
We bring the ideas, talks and breakthroughs the world is discussing to everyone, through Turkish dubbing and plain-language explanations.
A Türkiye that builds
We aim for a Türkiye that does not just use these technologies but develops them, shapes them and offers them to the world.
A strong community
We bring engineers, founders, students and the curious together around the same table.
Founding
Founded in the 103rd year of the Republic.
The Türkiye Effective Accelerationism Community was founded on 29 October 2026, the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye. We chose this date deliberately.
The Republic was founded with the ideal of raising Türkiye above the level of contemporary civilizations. That ideal still holds in the age of AI: having a say in the technologies of the future is what that goal means today. We want to do our part.
